  • + Managing my Account

     

    I haven’t received my confirmation email with login details – what should I do?

    If you haven’t received an email from us, there are a few places the email may have landed:

        • Spam, junk, and bulk mail folders. Sometimes our emails are blocked or filtered as spam by certain email providers or internet service providers so take a look in your spam, junk or bulk folders.
        • Filters and tabs. If you are using Gmail, some of our emails may have gone into one of the tabs within your inbox. If you haven’t already, be sure to take a look at your ‘Social’ tab for emails from us.

    If you’ve checked your junk mail and still can’t see an email from us, please call us on +44 113 289 3300. We are open Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm (UK time).

     

    I’m not receiving Learning Hub emails or they’re going into my junk mail – what should I do?

    If Learning Hub emails are going to your junk, spam or bulk mail, click on the email and then click the ‘Not Spam’ button. This is usually in the navigation bar above the email, it may say ‘Not Junk’ or ‘Not Bulk’ instead.

    We also recommend you add info@lovetefljobs.com to your email contacts. By doing this, our emails should not be sent to your junk, spam or bulk folder in the future.

    If you’re not receiving emails from the Learning Hub at all, you may need to add info@lovetefljobs.com to your safe senders list. To do this, you’ll need to navigate to the ‘Safe Sender’ settings in your email account. These can usually be found in your email ‘Settings’ or ‘Junk Mail Options’. For specific instructions on how to add us to your safe senders list, use a search engine to search for “safe senders list” along with the name of your email provider.

     

    How do I reset my password?

    If you need help resetting your password, we can send you a link to reset it.

        1. Click here and enter your email address to reset your password.
        2. We’ll send you an email with a link to reset your password follow the instructions to reset your password here. If you don’t receive an email from us, make sure to check your spam, junk or bulk folder.

     

    How can I change my name, email address and/or password on the Learning Hub?

    Changing your name, email address or password is simple:

        1. Make sure you are logged in to the Learning Hub by clicking here.
        2. Click on your profile on the navigation barit’s a person icon with your name next to it at the top right-hand side of the page. Clicking here will take you to your Learning Hub dashboard.
        3. On your dashboard, there’s a link underneath your name that says, ‘Update Profile’. Click this link and you’ll be taken to a page where you can update your name, email address and password available to edit.
        4. Once you’ve made your updates, click ‘Update Profile’ and you’re all done!

     

    How long does my access last?

      • If you’ve signed-up for Free access to the LoveTEFL Learning Hub, you don’t have to worry! You have access to all of our free courses for life.
      • If you’ve signed-up with Full Access, you’ll have access to all of our paid courses and resources from the time your account is set-up. You’ll also have access to our free content for life.

    How do I navigate around the Learning Hub materials?

    At the beginning of each course, you’ll find a short explanation on how to navigate through the course and what to expect when you have completed a section or a full course. This should be all the information you need to successfully move through and complete each course. If you need more advice on how to navigate through the course, find more detail below.

    In short, the courses have a navigation bar on the right-hand side. As you work through the courses, the bullet points in this navigation bar will change from grey to green as you complete each page of a course.

    At the bottom of each page you can use the navigation buttons to move forwards and backwards. When you’ve read a page, click ‘Save and Continue’ to save your progress this will update the progress bar at the top of the page. You can find quizzes throughout the courses – press the link at the bottom of the page to access the quiz.

     

    My progress completion icon isn’t at 100% – does this mean I haven’t completed it?

    In order to get to 100% on your completion icon, you’ll need to have viewed every page of the course, completed every quiz, downloaded everything that’s possible to download and have completed the final assessment.

    Can I access my course after I’ve completed it?

    Yes, you’ll have full access to your courses for a year or until your access expires.

     

    Why can’t I access courses and/or access materials on the Learning Hub?

    If you can’t access a course or download materials found in the Learning Hub, please contact us and we’ll aim to resolve your issue as soon as possible. Email us at info@lovetefljobs.com with a clear description of the problem and where you found it.

     

    What if I just want one of the paid courses on the Learning Hub?

    Unfortunately, you cannot purchase individual courses. If you would like to access one of the ‘Full Access’ courses, you’ll need to purchase an ‘Full Access’ account. Fortunately, it’s very affordable!

     

    Are the Learning Hub’s courses accredited?

    No – our courses are not accredited. However, all of our courses share the same high standards of the courses from our sister company, i-to-i.

     

    What happens if I don’t want to continue with the Learning Hub?

    Why aren’t the videos in the Learning Hub working?

    If you’re having trouble watching videos on the Learning Hub, there can be a few reasons for this:

     

    Can someone at LoveTEFL read over my resume or cover letter?

    We can’t read any resumes or cover letters – our Perfecting your Job Application courses are designed to help you get your job application in ship shape order before you send it out to employers or recruiters.

    We believe that by following our tips and advice, you’ll be in a really positive position without us needing to read your work. As recommend in our courses, get a trusted friend to help you with proofreading before you apply for any positions.

     

    Can you mark my end of course assessment?

    Unfortunately, we’re not able to mark your end of course assessments. We can provide you with our suggested answers and we recommend you compare these answers to your own. We hope these assessments will be useful for you to complete and learn from.

     

    I need help with a section of the course – what do I do?

    If you’re having trouble getting past a section, module or quiz on the Learning Hub, please contact us and we’ll aim to resolve your issue as soon as possible. Email us at info@lovetefljobs.com with a clear description of the problem and where you found it.

     

    How can I write about a Learning Hub course on my CV/resume?

    You might want to reference the courses you’ve taken on your resume. You can put them in a section called ‘Professional Development’ to show they are different to your initial qualifications. We recommend referencing them in the same way you reference other qualifications. This will usually be:

    Name of Institution, Name of Course (Date Completed)

    LoveTEFL, Understanding and Teaching Pronunciation (19/07/2019).

     

    Am I guaranteed a TEFL job?

    We believe our Learning Hub will help to get you in the best possible position for job applications in the TEFL world, but we can’t guarantee that you’ll be able to find a job – that part is up to you! Our Perfecting your Job Application courses will give you the tools you need to create fantastic written applications, prepare you for interviews and demo lessons, and help you to stand out to employers. Our Further your Teaching Skills courses will help to develop your knowledge as a teacher and improve your teaching technique.

    How do I print off my course?

    We don’t recommend printing off the courses as we’ve designed our courses to be accessed online – you might miss some valuable information. You can, however, download and print any PDFs such as lesson plans or guides. Press the yellow ‘Access’ button to download a document and then press Ctrl + P on your keyboard to print it.

     

    Why can’t I access or download my certificate?

    When you 100% complete a course, you’ll be issue with your e-certificate. This can be found in the following locations:

        • By visiting the home page of the course you have finished, you should now be able to find a ‘Print Your Certificate’ button that you can click to reveal your certificate of completion.
        • In your user profile, you’ll find a progress section of everything you have accessed in the Learning Hub. If you scroll to the bottom of this section and click on page 2, you’ll find all your completed work alongside a certificate badge. You can click this certificate badge to open your certificate.

    Can I order a printed certificate?

    Unfortunately, we do not offer printed certificates, however you can print your e-certificates at home.
